DueVon started with a simple thought: what if clothing could feel connected to nature without looking like a typical nature-inspired brand?
I didn't want to use the usual leaves, mountains or obvious organic symbols. Instead, I wanted to capture what I actually like about nature — its quietness, balance and simplicity — and translate those qualities into a clothing brand.
The result is DueVon: a restrained fashion identity designed to feel natural without being predictable.
The identity is built around a custom D monogram, created from the first letter of DueVon. I wanted the letter to become more than just an initial.
By simplifying and reshaping the D, I created a standalone mark that can live independently from the wordmark.
It works as a quiet signature across the brand — something that can appear on clothing, labels, packaging and other touchpoints without needing the full brand name every time.
The visual direction is intentionally restrained. I used clean typography, negative space and a muted visual approach to create a feeling that is modern, calm and considered.
The identity doesn't compete with the clothing. It gives the clothing space to exist.
The colour palette takes inspiration from the natural world — earth, foliage, stone and organic materials. I avoided highly saturated colours because I wanted DueVon to feel grounded and timeless.
The colours aren't meant to literally represent nature. They're meant to create the feeling of nature. Calm. Grounded. Quiet.
For the imagery, I wanted to place DueVon in environments where the clothing feels naturally at home. Natural landscapes, organic textures and real-world settings become part of the visual identity.
The environment isn't simply a background for the clothing. It is part of the story.
The photography therefore follows the same principles as the identity — natural, minimal and quietly confident.
The identity was designed to work beyond a logo presentation. I explored how the system could translate into real fashion touchpoints — from clothing and labels to packaging and other brand applications.
The D monogram becomes the recognisable signature, while the colour, typography and photography build a consistent world around it.
This is where the identity starts feeling like a brand rather than just a logo.
DueVon became an exploration of quiet fashion branding. Instead of using obvious symbols to communicate nature, I tried to communicate its qualities through restraint, composition, colour and atmosphere.
The custom D monogram gives the brand its signature. The visual system gives it its world. And the mockups show how that world can exist beyond the screen.
The goal was consistency without repetition — each mockup explores a different expression of the same visual language.
